Apollo Ultra 20 is a mid level performance road bike, aimed at the enthusiast road cyclist looking for an endurance bike at an amazing price without compromising on performance.
Made from Mitsubishi high-modulus carbon fibre, the frame uses a box downtube with a pressfit bottom bracket and tapered head tube. This gives the Ultra a responsive feel, turning more of the power in your pedal stroke into forward momentum. The use of slim seatstays gives the bike a good level of comfort, without compromising structural integrity or efficiency. A full carbon fork with tapered steerer offering lighter weight, more responsive steering, as well as a smoother ride.
Geometry wise, the Ultra is designed for longer days in the saddle. The bike is ideal for Gran Fondo style events, social riding, or even a long distance commute. The relaxed seating position puts you slightly more upright than on a dedicated race bike, and helps relieve the pressure on the lower back.
Disc brakes on road bikes are becoming increasingly popular road bikes due to the many benefits they offer over convention rim brakes. They provide increased power and feel regardless of the weather conditions, and also removes any stress and wear on the rims which means increased longevity of the wheels. The Ultra 30 uses Shimano Ultegra hydraulic brakes for optimum stopping performance, and the disc rotors features integrated cooling fins to reduce the chances of brake fade even on the longest descents.
The Ultra 30 features a full Shimano Ultegra groupset for absolute performance, giving many a rider top performance and years of reliability. A compact Ultegra crankset paired with a wide range cassette gives this bike excellent hill climbing ability and allows the rider to maintain an efficient cadence even on the longest accent.
The Apollo Ultra 30 is a top performing disc road bike, designed as a comfortable and efficient option for the social rider or long distance commuter.
